Jack’s 20+ years of CEO-COO experience leading multiple manufacturing and service companies to double-digit growth – including a startup - generates unique advantages. He brings his quick perspective acumen to fractional COO roles, interim C-level appointments, and successful engagements leading transformation, supply chain and Lean/Improvement outcomes. As a trusted peer and confidant, CEO’s and Boards seek Jack's critical and empowering insights across manufacturing, services, construction, healthcare, multi-family and gaming markets. His executive roles included private, family, public and PE backed companies.
Wherever he’s engaged, Jack especially enjoys coaching cross-functional engagement and team-based processes to sustained continuous customer improvement. He loves mentoring and team building.
Jack is a frequent speaker on improvement, supply chain and leadership issues and was honored with the Oregon Governor's Award for Emerging Business. Jack also created the Supply Chain Targeting Matrix™, helping many companies build enterprise value through targeted supply chain transformation. As a principal with Ascend Consulting, Jack also advised leading NW mid-market CEOs and boards on key executive compensation issues. His board service includes technology, chemical manufacturing, wine and healthcare. Jack serves in leadership roles in YPO/WPO, industry organizations and regional Supply Chain conferences. He holds an MBA from the University of Oregon and a BS in Materials Engineering from Drexel University, and was appointed Professor of Operations Strategy for the University of Oregon OEMBA program.
Jack and his wife Pam live in Sonoma County, and he is deeply committed to community and church activities in North Bay and Seattle.
